Ohio Association of Mutual Insurance Companies’ Logo Usage Policy

This Logo Usage Policy (the “Policy”) sets forth the authorized manner for using or referring to the Ohio Association of Mutual Insurance Companies’ (“OAMIC”) trademarked names, logos and/or slogans.

OAMIC’s name and logo are among the association’s most important and valuable assets. So valuable, in fact, that OAMIC has taken the time and invested resources to obtain trademark registration protections from the State of Ohio.

As the owner of its name and logo, OAMIC has the exclusive right to use its trademarked logo, as well as the right to stop others from using its trademarks improperly or without authorization.

Use of the OAMIC Logo(s)

When used for the sole purpose of illustrating their affiliation with OAMIC, member companies may use the OAMIC logo without the need for prior permission. Such use shall in no way modify the logo format or color except that black and white recreations of the logo are acceptable.

Third parties may not use any OAMIC logo for any purpose without written permission to do so from the OAMIC Board of Directors or its designee.

If permission is granted to use an OAMIC logo, the logo may be used only for the stated purpose and in the manner for which permission is granted. Artwork will be provided by OAMIC, which may not be modified in any way, other than sizing it to fit appropriately in context. Unless specifically permitted in writing to do so, the OAMIC logo may not be combined with other logos or artwork.

Each request will be evaluated individually and permission will be granted or denied solely at the discretion of the OAMIC Board or its designee. Please contact OAMIC (info@oamic.org / 833.696.2642) with all usage requests.
