Pre-Convention Seminar Education Offerings
Two pre-convention courses will be offered on Wednesday, February 15th. These courses offer attendees the opportunity to earn both Ohio Agent Continuing Education and/or Farm Mutual Director Certification (FMDC) credit(s).
Insurance Company Operations - Wednesday, February 15th (Morning)
A review or introduction to core insurance operations including underwriting, claims, marketing and evaluating new business. Attendees completing this 4-hour session will satisfy the ‘Operations and Insurance Module’ toward the FMDC certification.
Managing Your Company - Wednesday, February 15th (Afternoon)
The importance of the board’s role, board evaluation, corporate governance for Mutuals and mergers/acquisitions will be addressed during the afternoon segment. Attendees completing this 4-hour session will satisfy the ‘Management Module’ toward the FMDC certification.

Agents registered for Continuing Education (CE) have three opportunities to earn CE Credit:
Insurance Company Operations - Wednesday, February 15th (Morning) - 4.0 Hours
Managing Your Company - Wednesday, February 15th (Afternoon) - 4.0 Hours
Thursday, February 16th Morning & Afternoon Presentations - 4.0 Hours
*Note - Ohio Agent CE courses have been filed but are awaiting approval by the Ohio Department of Insurance.

- Farm Mutual Director Certification (FMDC) |
OAMIC is continuing to offer NAMIC's Farm Mutual Director Certification (FMDC) program. Directors have the opportunity to earn up to eight credits (four in the Management module and four in the Operations & Insurance module) by attending the pre-convention education courses on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Directors can also earn Ohio Agent Continuing Education credit if they hold an Ohio agent license. Farm Mutual Directors can click here to learn more about the FMDC program.

CPCUs attending Wednesday or Thursday's program will be awarded points under the Continuing Professional Development Program for CPCUs. Pick up the CPD form at the registration table.

Convention Attire
Business casual attire is appropriate for all events with the exception of the banquet. Business attire is appropriate for the banquet.
Refund Policy
Attendees canceling by January 31, 2012 will receive a full refund. No refunds after January 31, 2012.
