CYA: Cover Your Assets Reducing E&O Exposures by Reviewing the Processes in the Customer Life Cycle
E&O exposures can arise from any process in the client life cycle. From the initial prospect interview, through completing the application, processing changes, handling claims, renewing policies and canceling or non-renewing coverage, each phase of the process is fraught with E&O pitfalls. This course will discuss the major areas of concern and review E&O loss control measures that can be applied to the various processes in the customer "life cycle".
Wednesday, February 17 Afternoon Course - 3 Hours
Increasing Personal Lines Profit Through Exposure ID
Personal lines products tend to be sold with a "one size fits all" approach. Unfortunately, not all personal lines customers have the same exposures to loss.
Using a personal lines case study approach, students will learn to identify loss exposures and apply risk management techniques to address those exposures. Included in the course will be a discussion of the risk management process and the importance of using a personal lines checklist or questionnaire.
Thursday, February 18 Morning & Afternoon Presentations - 3.5 Hours
*Note - CE courses have been approved by the Ohio Department of Insurance.

CPCUs attending Wednesday or Thursday's program will be awarded points under the Continuing Professional Development Program for CPCUs. Pick up the CPD form at the registration table. CPD Points: Wednesday a.m. - 3 points; Wednesday p.m. - 3 points; Thursday - 4 points.
